Hotel Holt has one of Iceland’s quality restaurants, Gallery Restaurant, a landmark establishment since 1965. The restaurant’s reputation is well deserved and the à la carte menu is truly inspired by French culinary traditions. The Gallery Restaurant and its sommeliers are proud of the most extensive wine cellar in Iceland that consists of over 4.000 bottles. The Skálholt whiskey bar is well renowned for an exclusive single malt selection that offers over 120 brands and 60 different Cognac and Armagnac.
Hotel Holt’s environment is adorned with original works of Icelandic art and represents the largest privately owned art collection in Iceland. The large Italian rich leather sofas, wood panelling, warm colours and hardwood floors all help to recreate the feeling of a traditional cigar bar; minus the smoke.
Rates are quoted in EUR on our website. Please note however that charges will be made in ISK based on the exchange rate from EUR to ISK on the day that the charge is made.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.
Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast costs EUR 15.00 per person.
Parking: Free public parking is possible on site.
Pets: Pets are not allowed.
